Why We Like This Place
For a small country town, Fallbrook happens to have a surprisingly large and lovely wedding facility called Grand Tradition Estate. Set on 30 acres of gently rolling hills in a secluded valley, the estate includes two distinctive locales for events, each with its own personality.
The first is Beverly Mansion, a Victorian-style home with magnificent, park-like grounds. As you stand on the veranda, inhaling the fragrance of fresh-cut grass and surveying the pastoral scene down below, it’s clear why so many couples come here to say “I do.” Before you, a vast expanse of lawn slopes down to a serene heart-shaped lake ringed by weeping willows. Swans glide along the surface past a white gazebo at the edge of the water. A forest creates a dense green backdrop that shelters your celebration from the outside world. Couples often take advantage of the site’s storybook quality by riding around the lake in a white carriage drawn by two sleek Arabian horses before saying their vows at the gazebo. Afterwards, while the bride and groom pose for photos among the many picturesque settings, guests can also take a carriage ride, or indulge their sweet tooth at a decadent chocolate fountain.
Receptions are held in the mansion’s Crystal Ballroom, a nostalgically elegant hall illuminated by glittering Swarovski crystal chandeliers. Opulent furnishings and fruitwood Chiavari dining chairs make a bold statement against the room’s rich taupe patina. At one end of the hall, a grand staircase with gleaming banisters awaits the formal entrance of the new Mr. and Mrs. Picture windows capture the garden panorama, and French doors open to the veranda, which can also be set with tables and chairs for an up-close view. Other event-friendly amenities include a curtained stage for the head table, a hardwood dance floor, a baby grand piano, and an English pub.
The newest attraction at the Grand Tradition Estate is Arbor Terrace Pavilion, a more informal gathering spot set amidst gorgeously landscaped grounds. Palm trees swaying in the floral-laced breeze and cascading waterfalls evoke the romance of a tropical paradise, an alluring atmosphere for wedding vows. Graceful bridges, water features and expansive lawns adorned with statuary enhance the site’s natural splendor.
The Pavilion itself has its own charms, including arched French-style windows, a fabric-draped ceiling canopy and a built-in bar with a stone façade. Designed to offer shelter while embracing the outdoors, the three-sided Pavilion lets guests dine while gazing out to an elevated garden patio, with a waterfall tumbling softly in the background and a fire blazing in a flagstone hearth.
The Grand Tradition Estate was designed for events, and weddings are a specialty. Bridal couples will appreciate the exceptionally attentive, friendly service, which includes customized menus by culinary artists who take pride in serving only the freshest and most flavorful dishes.
With two such distinctly beautiful event areas, the Grand Tradition Estate has done more than its share to put the town of Fallbrook on the map! Not surprisingly, it’s been selected as “San Diego’s Best Wedding & Reception Venue” by the prestigious Channel 10 News A-List.

Fees & Deposits
A $1,500 reservation fee is required to book your date. 25% of the estimated event total is due 9 months prior to your event, and another 25% is due 6 months prior. The final guest count and balance are due 10 days before your event. Wedding ceremony & reception packages range $70–140/person, and include meals and all site fees. There is also a ceremony only package for $2,500. Tax and a 20% service charge are extra. Discounted rates are available for events on weekdays, Fridays and Sundays, and may also be offered for short notice or off-season bookings.
