Why We Like This Place

You can find this winery atop a gentle slope in the Sonoma Carneros area by driving up the long private entry road, through picturesque rolling hills dotted with vineyards. At the crest, you’ll spy Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards, a Spanish-style hacienda with Old World hospitality. The main building is large and impressive, with a red tile roof and wide entry steps. Inside, the tasting room—called the Sala di Catadores—is a warm and inviting space highlighted by an attractive mahogany bar and fireplace of matching wood and tile. Adjoining the Sala is a terrace that takes full advantage of the panoramic view of Sonoma Valley and the Ferrer vineyards below. On a warm windless day this is a great place for wine tasting and mingling with friends. It also makes a lovely ceremony spot.

For corporate parties or small lunch groups, the Executive Dining Room is intimate and elegant, with mahogany wood accents. It has windows that look out onto a colorfully landscaped promenade. This winery is an off-the-beaten-path, very private getaway for any event.

CEREMONY CAPACITY: The Vista Terrace or Tasting Room (Sala di Catadores) can accommodate up to 120 seated or standing guests.

EVENT/RECEPTION & Meeting CAPACITY: The Tasting Room (Sala di Catadores) holds up to 120 for a reception. The Executive Dining Room seats up to 45 guests for lunch or meetings.

Fees & Deposits

50% of the rental fee is required as a nonrefundable deposit to reserve your date; the balance, plus the wine fee, is payable the day of the event. Rental fees range $3,500–5,500 depending on guest count. Please inquire about discounted rates on Sunday. The wine fee is a required 2–4-case minimum purchase (depending on guest count) of Gloria Ferrer wines. Additional wine may be purchased by the bottle; call for current prices. Tax is additional. A $15/bottle corkage fee will apply for all non-Gloria Ferrer wines served.
