Honored with the prestigious Mobil Five-Star Award for two consecutive years, the hotel was rated the Best Hotel in San Francisco by both the Zagat Hotel Survey and Travel + Leisure Magazine’s 2005 World’s Best Awards, and was featured on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2005 Gold List. Your guests will love the hotel’s central location. Situated right on Market Street in the heart of the vibrant Yerba Buena Arts District, it’s around the corner from Union Square, the Moscone Convention Center and the Museum of Modern Art. The city’s finest shopping and theaters are mere steps away. Five floors elevate the hotel’s lobby and public areas from the exciting bustle of downtown. Designed in a graceful residential style, the lobby is a sophisticated urban oasis: its lofty ceilings, marble floors, stunning floral arrangements and impressive collection of renowned contemporary art highlight a sumptuous, yet subtle ambiance.

A long, sunbathed promenade separates the ballroom and meeting rooms from the main hotel reception area, offering additional peace and privacy. The exquisite Veranda Ballroom, named for its access to the spacious outdoor terrace overlooking Yerba Buena Gardens, is classically contemporary and quite grand. Shades of yellow and gold are warmed by natural light streaming through softly draped floor-to-ceiling windows. The ballroom easily adapts to a variety of events, including those that require complicated staging and audiovisual presentation. A fully retractable partition can be used to divide the room in half, and four elegant double doors open onto a generous, private L-shaped reception area. Four additional venues of varying sizes situated off the promenade provide options for smaller assemblies. All feature the same warm residential décor found in the larger spaces, and incorporate graceful details like hand-blown glass light fixtures, original artwork and beautiful gold-pleated and scallop-edged linens. For rehearsal dinners and other smaller gatherings, Seasons Restaurant is tasteful in every sense of the word, serving up world-class fare in a refined, richly tailored setting. Its private dining room affords plenty of seclusion without shutting out the excitement and atmosphere of the rest of the restaurant.

Fees & Deposits

For weddings, a 25% nonrefundable deposit, which varies depending on guest count and room selection, is required to reserve your date. The estimated food and beverage total is payable 30 days prior to the event. The ceremony setup charge ranges $500–2,500. Seated luncheons range $60–85/person for food only. Seated dinners range $80–125/person for food only. Beverage, audiovisual equipment, décor, tax and service charge are additional.
