There's a reason why 50,000 people sitting in bleachers cheer when someone proposes at the ballpark—it's romantic. And it combines two of America's favorite passions: love and baseball.

Dodger Stadium, an instant L.A. landmark since 1962 and home of the eight-time National League West Division champions, is a place where Angelenos' hopes and dreams can come true, from seeing an amazing triple play or catching a fly ball headed their way, to watching their team clinch the title. But nothing compares to holding your wedding here, because that's when the City of Angels' ballpark becomes your own personal field of dreams.

From the moment you arrive, you are the ultimate VIPs—no crowds, no jostling and all DodgerVision screens programmed to welcome your guests and display your photos. (Weddings and events are held on non-game days or up to five hours before a game). For this day, you and your wedding party are the All-Star line-up. Could there be a bigger thrill for the avid fan than stepping out onto the field? Well, it's actually possible to have your ceremony at home plate with your guests seated in the bleachers cheering you on. Even the casual fan can't help but appreciate the air of exclusivity that comes from holding your reception at the Dodger Dugout Club, a dynamic space located directly behind home plate that's usually reserved for a select few.

Start with cocktails at the Dodger Martini Lounge, an intimate area with blue-cushioned banquettes along one wall and sleek white tables surrounded by leather chairs that are a high-style interpretation of catchers' mitts. The lounge overlooks the neon-lit Dugout Club, which has the feel of a private nightclub, complete with flashing lights over the dance floor. An angled stainless steel grid ceiling gives you a sense of place, reminding you that the best bleacher seats are right above the club. The stainless steel element is repeated in a gleaming walkway that hugs one wall and lets you travel down a history of the Dodgers, with exhibits behind glass of photos, trophies and memorabilia like Roy Campanella's shin guards. On the opposite wall are blonde wood booths with signature blue cushions, a nice addition to your standard round tables with napery.

For something completely different, there's the Stadium Club, located on the Event Suites Level. A large airy space with high angled ceilings, it enjoys lots of natural light pouring in from floor-to-ceiling windows. A pale granite-and-blonde wood bar stretches out along the opposite wall and once again, there's a nice mix of booths and more traditional tables. Just outside the windows, there's a striking view down the first base line flanked by a huge DodgerVision screen. You can arrange for partial stadium lighting for nighttime events, or if you can take your eyes off the ballpark long enough, you'll also be able to appreciate the lighted skyline of downtown L.A. on one side and the twinkling lights of the Elysian Hills on the other.

EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: Indoors, the site can accommodate 300 seated or 500 standing; outdoors the stadium holds 500 seated or 5,000 standing guests.

Fees & Deposits

20% of the food and beverage total is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 7 business days prior to the event. Facility fees start at $650 and vary depending on the space rented and your food and beverage minimum. Meals range $35–100/person. Tax, alcohol and service charge are additional.

Availability

Dodger Stadium, including the clubs, the loge terrace patio, and the mesa are available year-round for private functions. Specific space availability is contingent upon the Dodgers' baseball schedule.
