Why We Like This Place
Children’s dreams are not the only ones that come true at the Disneyland® Resort. Couples who desire a fairytale wedding discover that they can have an enchanted experience here, too. The Disneyland Resort has been planning and hosting weddings for over 40 years, and they’re experts at creating magical events. The resort’s three hotels and over 65 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds provide a variety of settings and amenities for any type of celebration. All you have to do is imagine it, and Disneyland Resort’s wedding specialists can make it happen. The “place where dreams come true” can incorporate your favorite Disney themes and elements into your celebration, but they also create elegant and romantic affairs that have nothing to do with Mickey Mouse and his famous friends.
With a wave of her magic wand, your wedding specialist can transform any of the resort’s ballrooms into a sparkling wonderland. For maximum dazzle, cover the tables with floor-length linens and mirrored tops, and place candelabras around the room for a soft dreamy, glow. If you’d prefer a more casual ambiance, just let the staff know what you have in mind—your wish is their command.
If a bona fide fairytale is what you envision, then go ahead and indulge your fantasy. Be Cinderella for a day, and arrive at your wedding ceremony in a horse-drawn “glass” coach with its fanfare trumpeters, string ensemble, and costumed footman. Get married in the Rose Court Garden, whose horseshoe-shaped lawn is surrounded by over 800 fragrant rose bushes in blushing pastels. Down the center of the lawn, a built-in aisle takes you to your “Prince Charming,” waiting at a majestic white gazebo. You can then lead guests up to the second floor of the hotel, where an intimate glass-walled pavilion affords a view of the resort’s pool, garden and landscaped grounds.
Across the way, overlooking Disney’s California Adventure® Park, is Disney’s Paradise Pier® Hotel, exuding the fun, cool ambiance of a contemporary seaside resort. Al fresco receptions in the casual Pierside Pavilion give wedding parties a chance to take in the Disneyland® Park summer fireworks display, a grand finale your guests will definitely never forget.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® and Spa is a charming craftsman-style building whose lobby welcomes you with a huge fireplace, rocking chairs and live piano music. Guests can enjoy cocktails while watching the monorail from the Brisa Courtyard (Brisa is Spanish for “wind”), then have an extraordinary dining experience in the adjoining Sequoia Ballroom. Pale moss-colored walls, a high wood ceiling, and Tiffany lamps capture the vintage glamour of early California.
Can’t decide which sites are for you? Then visit with wedding specialists at the Disneyland® Resort Center, and peruse photos and samples while you consider your wedding options; a staff member will even take you on a personal tour. The specialists at Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings handle every aspect of your event, from catering and flowers to music and party favors. All three hotels have special room rates for the newlyweds and their guests, giving everyone an opportunity to turn a fairytale wedding into a fairytale vacation. Once you see everything Disney has to offer, you’ll realize that the magic here is not just for kids.

Fees & Deposits
A nonrefundable retainer of $2,000 will act as your deposit. The retainer is required to confirm your wedding event space and special hotel rates. Receptions with seated meals start at $85/person for lunch, $110/person for dinner. Tax and service charges are additional. There are two types of wedding packages: Wishes Collection is a fully customizable wedding that starts at $12,000. Couture Collection is a fully customizable wedding with couture-like decor and styles designed by David Tutera that starts at $75,000.
