Description
Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this golf course is one of the most popular in Southern California. It may also be one of the Southland’s most wedding-friendly venues.
What’s the attraction? Decent prices, no need to be a member (it’s a public course), the biggest dance floor in town, and an accommodating staff that knows how to soothe anxieties and keep things flowing smoothly. And even though this is a very popular course, the banquet facility is completely private: brides never have to worry about curious golfers wandering through their celebration.
Every wedding here is individualized. The bride meets with the catering staff and has a food tasting with the staff well before her wedding day. Because the city of La Mirada is an ethnic crossroads, the facility has extensive experience dealing with different religious and cultural needs. They’re also very flexible about time: when you start and end your event is up to you. Late evening celebrations aren’t a problem for La Mirada—they’re relatively far from the nearest neighboring houses, meaning no worries about making a disturbance.
Many brides start with an outdoor ceremony at the beautiful gazebo that overlooks the golf course’s signature lake. Afterwards, festivities move to the clubhouse’s banquet room, terrace, bar and front patio. A white ceiling and windows on three sides keep the banquet room bright, and it boasts an impressively large dance floor. The spacious terrace offers a perfect view of the golf course, a deep-green panorama of grass climbing long slopes. The fairways seem to go on for miles, edged with sycamores, beautiful shagbark eucalyptus and pines.
The patio, a small space near the front of the clubhouse, is a quiet spot where people can take a break from the party. The bar, directly accessible from the banquet room, has a charming Tuscan feel with comfortable booths and an upholstered bar. The unique set-up makes for a wonderful flow—just the thing to keep guests happily moving and mingling.
Maybe the best way to think of La Mirada is to remember what was going through Goldilocks’ mind when she was testing porridge at the Bear residence. Goldie wasn’t looking for too big or too cool; she was looking for Just Right. This place has so many "just-right" things going for it that it may just be right for you.

Fees & Deposits
A nonrefundable deposit, which is applied to your food and beverage total, is required to reserve your date. The amount of the deposit is equal to 25% of the estimated event total. 50% is due six months prior, and 100% of the final estimated balance is due 7 days prior to the event date. Meals range $40–80/person. Tax, alcohol, and a 19% service charge are additional.
