Description
Refreshing breezes, a white sand beach, crashing waves and a beautiful sunset accompany your ceremonyyou and your guests dine and dance beneath the stars… It all sounds pretty fabulous, doesn’t it. Well, if you’ve always wanted a seaside celebration, but have been daunted by all the effort involved, why not have your event at the Cliffs at Laguna Beach? At this unique facility you can enjoy all the things you love about being near the ocean without having to lift a finger!
Of course, the Cliffs’ main attraction is its location: set on a bluff with a 180-degree view of Laguna Beach, the adjacent coastline and the Pacific. A staircase leads from the street-level parking lot down to the venue, a spacious outdoor area with a built-in checkerboard dance floor bordered by a well-tended lawn. Though the site is not actually on the beach, if it were any closer, you might consider wearing a bathing suit!
The most popular ceremony spot is a circular platform near the cliff’s edge at one end of the lawn. Although the setting doesn’t require it, you can put up a wedding arch or a set of faux Roman columns here if you like. Since this site faces due west, your guests can watch the sun sink behind the two of you while you say your vows. Another option is getting married at the other end of the lawn in an airy white gazebo.
Guests are seated on the dance floor during the ceremony; afterwards they stroll over to the lawn to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, while tables are set up around the dance floor for the reception. In the evening, street lamps and twinkle lights augment the glow of candlelit tables, as the waves below murmur a soothing accompaniment.
Aside from its stellar location, the thing that makes the Cliffs at Laguna Beach so special is the outstanding service you’ll get from Occasions at Laguna Village, the on-site coordinator. If you’re a fan of "one-stop shopping," this is the place for you. Occasions can provide anything and everything else you might desire, including catering, linens, flowers, entertainment, lighting, market umbrellas and potted palms. So if you think that the words "effortless" and "seaside celebration" can’t possibly appear in the same sentence, look into the Cliffs at Laguna Beach. Here, you’ll be able to have the oceanfront party of your dreams without getting sand in your shoes.

Fees & Deposits
A $7,000 nonrefundable deposit is required, which covers a percentage of the anticipated food and beverage total and rental fee. 50% of the estimated event total is due 3 months prior to the event, and the balance is due 60 days prior. Rental fees range $1,500–4,700. Meals start at $50/person. Packages include tax and staffing charges; alcohol is additional.

Year-round, daily, 9am–10pm in 4-hour time blocks; overtime can be arranged at an additional cost.
