Centre Concord

Description

Centre Concord is one of the East Bay’s best-kept secrets. What makes the facility unique in this region is the unexpected size and elegance of its Ballroom, and the outstanding level of service provided.

The Ballroom’s décor rivals that of many big-city hotels, featuring warm gray fabric walls, a plush rose carpet with teal green accents, and a softly textured ceiling. Its most impressive feature, however, is a series of immense crystal chandeliers that add sparkle and glamour to every event. This space is extremely versatile, with adjustable lighting, a moveable dance floor, and a stage that can be positioned to suit your needs. And when you have transformed the room with beautifully dressed tables, the overall effect is quite upscale. The Ballroom rental includes the use of a large commercial kitchen, where your favorite caterer or even your best friend is welcome to cook.

The Ballroom can be divided into thirds for smaller groups, making it an affordable place for meetings and seminars, too. There’s also a multipurpose classroom with a built-in screen and white board, and a refurbished 2,500-square-foot Activity Center with a private entrance and restrooms. Each can serve as a dressing room or kid-friendly space when combined with the Ballroom.

Centre Concord is so flexible and accommodating, it’s easy to create the event you want. Clients consistently give this location their highest recommendation: brides find the staff "professional and delightful to work with," and business clients consider the Centre a favorite venue. "This is the best facility around," says one frequent client. "The staff is so courteous and the place is as wonderful as the prices. That’s why we keep coming back, year after year."

CEREMONY & EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The Ballroom holds a maximum of 400 guests.

MEETING CAPACITY: Event spaces hold 5–400 seated guests.

Fees & Deposits

For events, half the rental fee is required to secure your date. The rental fee balance, any additional fees and a $1,000 refundable cleaning/damage deposit are due 60 days prior to the event. Weekend (Friday evening through Sunday) rental fees range $1,600–2,300 depending on date and time of event. Weekday rental fees range $35–140/hour depending on the space rented.

Year-round, daily: Sunday–Thursday 7am–11pm, or Friday and Saturday 7am–1am.
