Why We Like Them:
For many years, international couture designer Nazzy Nazari’s luxurious wedding gowns were only available through her Orange County atelier, where she would create custom gowns expertly tailored to each bride. Recently Nazzy’s Bridal has launched her retail collection, and we expect her stunning wedding gowns to garner many more fans.
The daughter of a professional dressmaker, Nazzy began designing at an early age by outfitting her dolls in a variety of costumes. She’s always been particularly partial to white and off-white silks, so wedding design is a natural extension of her early passion. When Nazzy moved to Orange County almost a decade ago, she opened I Do Bridal, her custom dress shop. Word of mouth quickly spread, and the talented Nazari earned a reputation as a caring, dedicated professional.
Nazzy prefers to work in the finest textiles—particularly silk taffeta, charmeuse, satin and organza. She expertly layers and drapes the fabric to best set off a woman’s form, while at the same time creating a sense of occasion. From gowns with opulent skirts to sheaths suitable for beach weddings, Nazzy’s wedding dresses capture a bride’s fashion fantasies.
