Craig Peterman is a visual storyteller offering professional photography and videography for Southern CA weddings. Documenting moments is Craig's true passion: "I have had many careers throughout my life, but truly, nothing has ever felt right, or complete, or true, until I held a camera in my hands. Instantly, I knew that my real passion had been awakened with the whirring click of a shutter." He believes pictures are worth a thousand words, and that capturing still images and film is a way to not only tell your love story, but also make each moment last a lifetime.

Photography and videography packages start at $1,500. Three different photography packages and two different videography packages to suit your needs. They also offer amazing add-on items to any package!

True. Epic. Creative.
Why should someone hire you?
I believe a couple should hire me because I give every ounce of effort and energy into capturing your day and telling your story! I truly love what I do and I don't take your big day lightly; I am fully committed and prepared to get those epic, incredible shots that you'll share with generations to come.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
My mom was big into photography and my dad was the casual family videographer, so it just grew on me from a young age and I haven't put a camera down since I was able to hold one in my hands!
What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
I draw inspiration from everywhere, but I am especially drawn to colleagues that push the boundaries of creativity and what fresh ideas we can use to move the industry forward into the future!
Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:
My favorite moment at weddings is always the first dance! Its hard to beat a first dance between 2 people completely in love and in the moment!
What makes a wedding memorable for you?
Everything makes it memorable, but especially rowdy receptions are always a ton of fun! Some of my best shots are at the reception when people can finally let loose!
What have weddings taught you?
Weddings have taught me to enjoy the moment and appreciate life in a deeper way. It's incredible to travel the world and witness different cultures, meet different people, and watch once in a lifetime events unfold. It teaches a lot about what truly matters in life!
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
Try to have fun with everything and make the day 100% YOUR day!
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
Infinite energy! haha! Weddings can be very tiring, but in a good way
What are 3 words that describe your personality?
Calm, collected, and funny.
What's your favorite book/movie/work of art?
That's a tough one, but I have always been a big fan of Quentin Tarantino!

Don't fall asleep angry at each other!

I am a big basketball fan; anything involving that and you have my attention!
If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead?
I would probably be in the fitness industry in some capacity.
What’s your favorite way to wind down after a hard day?
Taking my dog Cashew for a nice long walk!

I have one amazing dog, Cashew, who is a terrier mix!
What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?
I recently tried Salt & Straw ice cream and I'm hooked!
