Tell us about your company name.ROUGE is led by French Chef and Restaurateur Jonathan Soudry, hence the 'French' name.
Why should someone hire you?ROUGE is a team that is enthusiastic and dedicated to providing you with a memorable event, whether you're planning a casual luncheon or the meal for the most important day of your life. Our Event Professionals assist throughout the planning process with custom menu building and tastings, floor plans and timelines, and facilitation of rentals and vendors. Let us take the stress out of planning your wedding!
What are the common misconceptions about your services?That we have a menu choice one, two or three. We actually sit down with each couple and ask them about their favorite foods, restaurants and life experiences in order to build a meaningful menu.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?There was a need in the catering industry to provide 'restaurant quality' food for catered events. Our culinary team works tirelessly to provide innovative world-class cuisine for our clients. Your food will be prepared ON SITE!
What makes a wedding memorable for you?The food matters and we take it personally! We seek to make every event unique and to allow the food to take center stage, right behind the bride!
What have weddings taught you?Be prepared for ANYTHING and always have a 'plan B'. There are so many moving parts in planning and executing a wedding, from weather concerns to vendor coordination. We are prepared for anything!
What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?We, of course, LOVE food and love trying new restaurants, bars, bakeries and food trucks! We like to keep on top of the wave as far as 'food and wedding trends' – what a great job!
