- It’s a magnificent vintage mansion. This incredible French-Victorian home was built in 1870 along “Millionaire’s Row,” and lovingly restored in the 1960s. It features carved cypress woodwork, stained glass, hammered tin ceiling details, and pristine period furniture throughout.
- The event options are enchanting, both inside and out. For indoor celebrations, the Club Rooms and Carriage House provide a “rustic-English” ambiance, with brick and stone detailing, beamed ceilings, and faux fireplaces. Or, you can hold your ceremony on the elegant front lawn, and continue the party in a festive tent set among the dogwood and magnolia trees.
- Your wedding will help support the work of the museum. The Woodruff-Fontaine House is part of a nonprofit organization that oversees sites important to the Volunteer State’s history and culture. A portion of fees raised by events goes directly into helping the mansion’s efforts, which include maintaining one of the South’s most extensive collections of antique wedding gowns.
