Why We Like This Place
Look up the word “charming” in the dictionary and you might find a picture of the Stone House at Temecula Creek Inn, because whoever first came up with the adjective surely had someplace just like this in mind.
Tucked away in a secluded section of the 350-acre property, this fairy-tale setting with its peak-roofed stone cottage dates back to the 1800s when the area served as a granite quarry. Today, instead of sheltering quarrymen, the stone-and-granite building has found what may be its true calling: an unforgettable site for a romantic wedding.
Your guests are shuttled down the winding path to the Stone House, which is set on a large grassy clearing against a woodland backdrop and enclosed by split-rail fencing. The building’s old wood shutters, little porch and neat border of colorful flowers give the scene an enchanted feeling. Across the front lawn there’s a wooden footbridge that leads to a sylvan ceremony site where everyone awaits your arrival (by horse-drawn carriage, if you wish). You make your grand entrance over that same bridge and up the aisle to a bentwood arbor, exchanging vows under a canopy of oak trees strung with lights.
Cocktails are served on the side lawn to the left of the house, where oak barrels used as tables add a nice wine country touch. Dinner follows on the main lawn, which affords a direct view of a distant fairway plus a sweet tableau of another wooden bridge and blooming hedges to the right. Create an indoor/outdoor event and take full advantage of the Stone House by adding a buffet or dessert bar inside. Later, turn the quaint interior, with its fireplace and cross-beam ceiling, into an after-hours lounge. Guests can also enjoy cocktails and warm themselves at glowing fire pits on both sides of the house, or play bocce ball and other games on the adjacent activity lawn.
Temecula Creek Inn offers an additional wedding venue, The Meadows, an expansive lawn where you can host your entire celebration. Say “I do” framed by natural foliage and fragrant rosebushes, then host your reception nearby around flickering fire pits.

A nonrefundable deposit and a signed contract are required to reserve your date. A nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the total estimated cost is due 30 days prior to the event, with the final estimated balance due 5 business days prior to the scheduled function. Rental fees range $500–4,000 depending on the space reserved. Meals start at $56/person. Tax, alcohol and a service charge are additional. Food & beverage minimums apply based on the date of your event and the areas reserved.
