Enveloped by flowering shrubs and bougainvillea, Shadowridge Country Club’s hilltop ceremony site provides the sheltered privacy of a secret garden. Tall hedges embrace the intimate spot, where a classic gazebo at the far end overlooks the Vista hills. As perfect as this setting is, you’re welcome to add your own unique touches, from lanterns and draping to a rose petal aisle or even crystals. Sculptural boulders, trees and sweeping hillsides around the perimeter serve as ideal backdrops for wedding photos and a post-ceremony champagne toast.
Once vows are exchanged, you and your guests will be shuttled aboard luxury buses to the modern, Mediterranean-style clubhouse with its wide circular drive, white-washed exterior and red-tiled roof. A graceful staircase leads up past feathery palms to your exclusive entrance and a small “welcome” patio overlooking the immaculate golf course.
Double French doors open to the newly renovated reception wing, whose rooms can be used in whatever combination best suits your event. The light-filled Turnberry Room has wraparound picture windows, offering magnificent views of the verdant fairways and distant hills dotted with upscale homes. A raised white ceiling and contemporary cylindrical chandeliers lend an open, airy feel, while seagrass-covered walls add texture to the neutral palette.
You can expand the space (and the view) by opening the retractable doors to the adjacent and identically decorated Ridge Room, providing ample room for a large hardwood dance floor and dropdown screen for home movies. Want to increase your square footage even more? The Gleneagles Room just across the hall can be utilized for a separate cocktail reception. When all three spaces are used together, they give your party a great flow.
The Sanders Social House, otherwise known as the members’ private dining room, is now available at certain times for special events. The comfy, chic décor features sleek banquettes, artsy club chairs and a cool teardrop chandelier over the U-shaped, granite bar. Foldaway glass doors open to a huge patio with overhead fans, a fire pit and wide-open vistas of manicured fairways and starlit nights, making this indoor/outdoor venue a sweet choice for late-night dancing and cocktails.

No matter which spaces or package you choose, the highly trained staff will work with you every step of the way to make sure your celebration matches your style and budget so that you get the best possible value. The club’s accomplished chefs can also help design the right menu for your affair—with popular selections like Almond Crusted Halibut, Char-Grilled Filet Mignon and Chicken Fontina—or plan a buffet with fun options like a Potato Martini Bar.

A $750 minimum deposit is required to reserve your date. 50% of the estimated event total is due 60 days prior to the event and the balance is due 7 days prior. Rental fees range $100–1,500 depending on the day and time of the event, guest count and the space rented. Meals range $22–100/person. Tax, alcohol and a 20% service charge are additional.
