Why We Like This Place

Situated less than a mile from the shore, dependably sun-kissed and cooled by ocean breezes, the sophisticated SeaCliff Country Club is a special place—and it's the only private club available for nonmember events in Huntington Beach.

A profusion of colorful foliage and a stream spilling over stones in a rock garden highlight the lovely entrance. While valets are greeting your guests as they arrive in SeaCliff's gracious circular driveway, you and your attendants will have full use of the bridal suite, where you can get ready and calm jittery nerves with some snacks and a bit of bubbly.

When it's time for the ceremony, everyone gathers at the Oval Terrace, the club's beautiful outdoor site. You'll walk down a petal-strewn aisle to your choice of archway (Cinderella, bamboo, or four Greek columns) adorned with flowers, and exchange vows against a stunning backdrop: a panorama of SeaCliff's lake and 18-hole golf course. Photos snapped here can't help but be gorgeous!

The club's two reception spaces offer very different atmospheres. If your guest list is long or you prefer a formal ambiance, the SeaCliff Ballroom is ideal. With its own entrance, exit, restrooms, and secluded courtyard, it provides complete privacy. More intimate gatherings are held in the versatile Pacific Dining Room and Lounge, which even includes an ebony grand piano. The dining and lounge areas are informally separated by a granite-topped bar, so it's easy for guests to mingle over cocktails on the lounge side and then walk right over to the other side for dinner. Both areas also feature a wall of glass overlooking the Oval Terrace, and double doors that open to the outdoors and give guests an opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and view of the golf course and lake.

The neutral décor in both rooms will complement whatever color scheme you choose, and you can enhance any of their turnkey reception packages with full room draping, chandeliers, or a chocolate fountain.

Adding to the attractions of this upscale venue are those that surround it in mellow Surf City USA. After your festivities wind down, you'll have miles of uninterrupted beach to stroll along, a historic pier to explore, and a colorful oceanfront boardwalk to visit.

CEREMONY CAPACITY: The Oval Terrace accommodates up to 250 seated guests. Indoors, banquet rooms hold up to 250 seated.

EVENT/RECEPTION & MEETING CAPACITY: Indoors, the SeaCliff Ballroom holds up to 250 seated or 300 standing guests and the Pacific Room holds up to 150 seated or 200 standing; outdoors, the Oval Terrace holds up to 250 seated or 300 standing.

A nonrefundable deposit, which is applied to your food & beverage total, is required to reserve your date. The amount of the deposit varies depending on how far in advance you book. Payment terms for the balance also vary, and may be arranged on an individual basis. Reception packages start at $50/person. Tax, alcohol, and service charge are additional. Food & beverage minimums may apply. Menus and packages can be customized to fit your wedding-day needs and budget. Call for details.
