Why We Like This Place

Many Coachella Valley venues say that they offer flexibility, but at Heritage Palms Golf Club they take the concept so seriously they even prepare a customized wedding package especially for you. Why such a personalized approach? Very simple: The accommodating staff wants you to feel that Heritage Palms is your club for your unique event.

Located near the site of the famed Coachella arts and music festival, the entry to the Heritage Palms clubhouse is an impressive, three-story-high rotunda Lobby lined with classic columns around the periphery. Light streams in through clerestory windows just below the coved ceiling, as well as through a wall of windows showcasing the golf course. Glass pendant chandeliers and a gleaming grand piano add touches of elegance to what is already a beautiful spot for an indoor ceremony. However, if you’d like to get married outdoors, exchange vows overlooking the verdant greens next to the clubhouse, then come back inside the Lobby for a swanky cocktail hour.

Either way, the adjacent Library, with its curved wall of windows and dramatic chandelier, serves as your very spacious bridal party lounge. Down the hallway, the Pool Room with billiard and card tables is a perfect hangout for the groom and his attendants.

The smartly decorated, modern San Jacinto Room and Terrace is a great choice for an indoor/ outdoor reception. Normally a members-only dining room, it’s yours to enjoy exclusively during your celebration. The comfortable space features plush seating, soft lighting, a soothing water wall and a low bar that runs the length of the room. Picture windows frame a lovely view of the terrace, fairways and jagged San Jacinto Mountains in the distance.

A short walk from the main clubhouse is the Heritage Room, which is not just a room but a separate building and grounds that offer a completely different setting for your festivities. Say “I do” beneath a pyramid-topped pavilion facing your guests seated on tiers of grass, then proceed inside for cocktails in the cool, marble-floored foyer. The dining room, visible beyond an etched-glass wall, treats everyone to a glorious vista of the fairways and mountains, enhanced here by two shimmering ponds edged with palm trees right outside the door. There’s even an attached dance studio that can double as a club/lounge.

For brides who want to pull out all the stops, check out the newly renovated ballroom. In this large, neutral-toned banquet space you can unlock your creativity: It’s easy to transform the look of the room with uplighting, draping, and any décor that strikes your fancy. The full-sized, raised stage (including dressing rooms) is ideal for a band, humorous toasts or producing your own YouTube video sensation. A sound control booth helps your DJ rock the house, and a drop-down HD screen by the dance floor lets you share home movies.

Heritage Palms hosts a wide range of social and business events with equal finesse, including more intimate gatherings like meetings, welcome brunches or rehearsal dinners. Remember, at this golf club you can mix and match the spaces and configure them however you like. After all, it’s your wedding, your way.

20% of the total event cost is required to reserve your date and the balance is due 30 days prior to the event. Rental fees range $800–2,000 depending on the season. Meals range $28–60/person. Tax, alcohol and a 20% service charge are additional.
