Why You'll Love This Place

A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review
  • This eye-catching re-creation of a Victorian neighborhood, which occupies two blocks just steps from Oakland's City Center, feels like a romantic hideaway frozen in time, with landscaped grounds, period park benches, ornate wrought-iron fences, old-fashioned street lamps, and a bronze fountain from Paris.
  • Nestled at the heart of the park you’ll find the Pavilion, a graceful bandstand framed by velvety lawns where ceremonies usually take place. Outdoor receptions are held in the adjacent Fountain Circle, a circular plaza with a large two-tiered fountain topped by the moon goddess Diana at its center.
  • Indoor celebrations may be held in the 1890 Ginn House, which evokes an English country home, or the 1910 Nile Hall, a craftsman-style building with a sensational reception room boasting 30-foot ceilings, skylights, and a a theatrical lighting and sound system. Luckily, you don’t have to choose—you may opt to rent both houses, as they're connected by a spacious interior hallway.
