Why We Like This Place

If you’re looking for the coolest setting for a California coastal wedding in Orange County, you have to check out this uber-awesome new venue in the heart of Surf City USA. It delivers amazing oceanside views with an energetic Huntington Beach downtown surround and 8,000 square feet of terrific indoor/outdoor event space.

Very likely you and your guests will be carried away instantly by the décor—super, beach-themed touches like the vibrant murals (one is actually an enormous quilt made of wet suits), the surfboardstyle sculptural elements, and the iconic images of local beach culture by photographer Aaron Chang. The architectural elements will impress everyone, too: The high ceilings, clean lines and large windows are an airy salute to the breezy Southern California lifestyle. But what’s most appealing here is the prospect of hosting an event—be it social or corporate—that’s free-spirited, easy-going, and sophisticated at the same time.

The 3,000-square-foot Epic Ballroom (divisible into thirds), its adjoining Foyer, and the adjacent Deck—are all truly epic. Polished and beautifully conceived with every imaginable feature, these spaces are also FUN. Creative forces creep into every tiny detail from the lovely sand, sea and sun-inspired colors to the subtle “footprint” textural effects in the walls and the sustainable landscaping in the outdoor function areas. A nonrefundable, nontransferable 25% of the estimated event total is required to reserve your date. Additional nonrefundable, nontransferable deposits are required at 60, 90 and 120 days prior to your date, with the estimated balance due 14 days prior. The ceremony fee is $1,000, and a wedding coordinator is required for all on-site ceremonies. All-inclusive packages are available. The food & beverage minimum ranges $2,000–12,000. A taxable service charge and sales tax are additional. Fees for business programs vary based on overnight accommodations, services and menus selected.
