Why We Like This Place

  • Your guests will appreciate this historic hotel’s charm and character. Each room is individually decorated and tastefully appointed in 18th century-style décor. Separate from the main hotel is the Fidelia Bridges Guest House, a fine example of Federal period architecture featuring three guest rooms and a suite with a large living and dining area.
  • There’s a perfect event space for each phase of your celebration: The Pickman Room is ideal for an intimate rehearsal dinner and offers an exquisite view of Salem Common. The Essex Room combines style, efficiency and comfort for a mid-sized wedding, while the Grand Ballroom with its Palladian windows, gold-framed mirrors and 19-foot ceiling can hold up to 190 guests. Nathaniel’s restaurant and the adjoining Sophia’s Room work well for a smaller wedding or farewell breakfast.
  • Hawthorne Catering provides delicious cuisine. With their years of experience, these experts deliver professional service and superb food. A variety of menu options is available for cocktail receptions, plated or buffet dinners and holiday-themed meals.
