Questions and Answers
Why should someone hire you?
You should hire me because you deserve to have truly gorgeous wedding photographs and a photographer that feels more like an old friend than another stuffy wedding vendor.
What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
My largest source of inspiration for your wedding photographs will be you! I also make sure I am on top of all of the current wedding photography trends to give you gorgeous, authentic photographs that are a true reflection of the joy and love you felt on your wedding day.
Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:
Recently I photographed a wedding where the bride and her father surprised all of their guests by transitioning from a slow song to a choreographed dance to "Party Rock Anthem" during the father/daughter dance. Later that night, the bride also surprised her guests again by leading a flash mob on the dance floor with about 15 of her friends to "Sexy and I Know It." It was memorable to say the least!
What makes a wedding memorable for you?
Everything! Each wedding is unique—each different in the moments, memories and people. That is one thing that I love about my job: Every wedding is always so different from one to the next!
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
Pick three things that are important to the both of you and make those items your priority. Don't stress over the rest of it because at the end of the day you are marring your best friend. That's all that matters.
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
If I could have any superpower on your wedding day it would be the ability to stop time around us. That way, we could have an extra long sunset portrait session. Something about a gorgeous couple and a golden sunset makes me happy.
What are 3 words that describe your personality?
Outgoing. Friendly. Creative.
