Fuzzy sweaters and giant inflatable snowmen aren’t the only things that go on sale at the end of the year. Bridal salons also put on year-end sample sales, and it’s a great time to pick up a wedding dress bargain.

Did you know that before the 1880s, a couple was required by law to have a morning wedding ceremony? During Victorian times, the U.S. followed English custom with ceremonies between 10am and noon considered most fashionable.

This popular Orange County bridal salon is doing their part to support our troops. They’re holding a bridal gown giveaway, July 27 at Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar Officers Club. At this annual event, 100 bridal gowns will be given to military brides (with proper ID, of course) on a first-come, first-served basis.
