    • Interesting Tidbit: This iconic 1911 landmark was once the main concourse of Seattle’s Union Pacific station—back when train travel was a reason to dress up!
    • Event Space Highlights: The Great Hall is simply stunning—its barrel-vaulted ceiling soars 55 feet overhead and features central skylights as well as 400 inset lights.     • Location: 1532 Minor Avenue, Seattle WA

    • Event Space Highlights: Built in 1927 and renovated in 2010, the venue boasts exposed red brick walls, huge Douglas Fir beams, a high ceiling and a polished concrete floor.

    Sodo Park by Herban Feast
    • Location: 3200 1st Avenue South, Seattle WA
    • Style: Historic industrial chic meets contemporary elegance
    • Interesting Tidbit:  Built in 1907, this one-time factory has been beautifully repurposed as an event venue with an abundance of urban charm.
    • Event Space Highlights: The soaring, open-space loft design—which works well for both ceremonies and receptions—features vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, reclaimed lighting and original multipaned windows. Plus, there’s a really cool inner courtyard for cocktails or after-dinner drinks. 
    • Notable Services: Herban Feast Catering, the exclusive caterer for this venue, also runs Herban Design Studio which can assist you with event styling, specialty rentals and floral décor. They’re happy to refer you to their experienced partners for additional help with planning, photography and video, DJs and other services.
    • Catering: Provided in-house by Herban Feast Catering. This award-winning company serves up innovative seasonal menus, and are known for their distinctive presentations and their use of interesting elements like edible flowers and specially grown herbs.

    Woodland Park Zoo
    • Location: 601 North 59th Street, Seattle WA

    • Fab Feature: With 92 acres and 19 natural and often unique settings for events, this whole place is fabulous.
    • Event Space Highlights: You have so many choices, from the serene Rose Garden with its lily pond and gazebo (a beautiful ceremony spot) to the Rain Forest Pavilion, which has two sides of nearly floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the park’s lush landscaping and a wraparound patio. And then there’s the Zoomazium, a whimsical indoor area with a climb-able “mountain” and two slides to spark the inner child in all your guests.
    • Notable Services: They’ll bring in a caricaturist, supply special party favors or arrange a ride on their vintage 1918 carousel (for an additional fee).
    • Catering: Provided in-house by Lancer Catering. This full-service company will not only help you customize your reception meal, they’ll also assist with planning your theme, décor, entertainment and more. Menus use organic and locally grown food whenever possible.
