The Historic Alfred I. Dupont Building
  • Location: 169 East Flagler Street, Miami FL

  • Interesting Tidbit: The former home of Florida National Bank, this was Miami’s first skyscraper built after the Great Depression. The mezzanine-level bank lobby, where celebrations are held, remains virtually unchanged since its completion in 1939.
  • Event Space Highlights: The original decorative wrought-iron teller cages now serve as a bar. Gilded elevator doors are adorned with bas-relief palm trees and flamingos, and dazzling marble floors reflect light from two-story-high windows. The Ancient Spanish Monastery

  • Interesting Tidbit: In the 1920s, William Randolph Hearst had this authentic 12th-Century monastery transported from Spain, crate by crate. When it was finally reassembled in 1953, Time Magazine dubbed it “the biggest jigsaw puzzle in history”!
