It’s Trunk Show Time

by Jolene Rae Harrington, Director of Creative Content

Bliss by Monique Lhuillier at Pure English Couture Bridal in VirginiaMany of you received a very special gift this recent holiday season, and it’s sparkling on the ring finger of your left hand! If you’re like me, the first thing you wanted to do when he popped the question (after calling your BFF and Mom) was to go window shopping for your wedding dress. Just to see what’s out there. We wholeheartedly encourage that pastime!

Before I got engaged, I’d never heard of a “trunk show,” but I soon found out that these special events were a chance to see a designer’s entire collection during a private appointment. The salon staff and designer or their representative will advise you, pamper you, and sometimes offer a discount if you purchase your gown during a trunk show.

Wouldn’t it be great to go to a Maggie Sottero or Vera Wang trunk show? Lucky you. From January through March is Trunk Show Season—be sure to visit our Trunk Shows & Sample Sales calendars to find one near you, by appointment only.
