8 Portland Wedding Venues With Historic Cred

Established in 1843, Portland has a rich past that’s been beautifully preserved in a variety of unique historic buildings. Fortunately for us, many of these architectural gems now host weddings and other special events. And whether you’re a fan of Victorian splendor, industrial chic or European flair, each of the following venues offers an opportunity to step back in time.

  • Event Space Highlights: The Crystal Ballroom (ideal for a wedding ceremony) features Austrian crystal chandeliers, cathedral windows and gold leaf, while the exquisite hotel lobby is perfect for hosting cocktails by the fireplace. The Mayfair Ballroom is spacious enough for dining and dancing, and even boasts a stage.
