Special Events at Union Station

Why We Like This Place

Built in 1908 and lovingly restored 80 years later, Union Station has morphed from from bustling train hub into a beloved tourist, shopping, and dining Mecca for Washington, D.C.. This Beaux Arts beauty has two main indoor ballrooms available for wedding rentals: The East Hall was once the original dining room for visiting dignitaries and departing soldiers passing through, and The Columbus Club served as the train station’s soda fountain. Either ballroom can be rented in conjunction with the Palm Court in Union Station’s high-ceilinged Main Hall, which is a spectacular setting for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
