From the moment you step into this charming shop, you’re enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that’s as much due to the engaging owner and staff as it is to the fetching décor and dress-candy. Operating by appointment only, this award-winning salon welcomes every bride to her private shopping experience, where she can be pampered and guided in choosing her ultimate wedding ensemble.

Brides have plenty of gorgeous styles in a range of prices to choose from. As its name implies, Pure English carries an exclusive array of exceptionally crafted gowns by London’s top couturiers—we love design house Dizzie Lizzie’s fresh interpretation of the traditional ball gown. A choice selection of domestic and European designers round out the offerings, including Pronovias, Watters, Paloma Blanca and Monique Lhuillier’s wallet-friendly Bliss line.

Bridesmaids will fall in love with Pure English, too—fashionable dresses come in reasonable prices ($100-$350 with group discounts available), and choices include Amsale, Alfred Sung and the entire collection of Jim Hjelm and WTOO! And be prepared… the eye-catching selection of shoes, sparkly tiaras, handmade veils and other adornments will have you oohing and ahhing.

Exceptional tailoring and on-site alterations are another plus. From the comfortable guest seating to the vintage-style mirrors in the dressing rooms, this award-winning boutique makes you want to linger.
