Why We Like This Place

Just steps from George Washington’s famous mansion on the 500-acre Mount Vernon Estate, the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant hosts all types of special events—including rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. Reserve the entire venue, or choose from among six intimate dining rooms, two with crackling fireplaces and all with colonial charm, colonial servers, and delicious regional and colonial cuisine. If you’d like to get married here, too, you can tie the knot in the beautiful sunken garden nearby.
