Why We Like This Place

Just a mile and a half outside of the port town of Avalon, the hilly island wilderness holds a novel surprise: a stunning memorial that towers over 40 acres of botanic gardens. A blue flagstone ramp ascends a gentle rise to the stone and concrete structure, which boasts a cathedral-style ceremony setting and a breathtaking vista of Avalon Bay. Green marble and colorful local handmade glazed tiles contribute to the aura of grandeur. The surrounding gardens offer inspiring reception possibilities. This spectacular event location is brought to you by the Santa Catalina Island Conservancy, dedicated to preserving the island’s unique eco-system. A perfect choice for green weddings!

Fees & Deposits

A $100 deposit is required to reserve your date and the balance is due 4 months prior to the event. Rental fees range $450–4,800 depending on the guest count, and the day and time of the event. Catering packages can be arranged through the Conservancy’s preferred caterer, starting at $40/person. Tax, alcohol and a 20% service charge are additional. Officiant services, floral, event decor and other planning assistance are also available.
