Just a half hour north of Los Angeles on the former site of private ranch land sits Westlake Village, an idyllic community designed in harmony with the natural beauty of the Santa Monica foothills. The “Founding Father” of Westlake Village is international developer John Notter, an energetic entrepreneur whose love of art, food and entertaining gave birth to the Westlake Village Inn, an elegant embodiment of his impeccable taste and style.
When you drive onto the Inn’s immaculate grounds, it feels like you’re entering a European private estate. The Westlake Village Inn encompasses over 17 lush acres spread around a man-made lake overlooking a tree-studded golf course. The main areas of the Inn include the beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites nestled throughout the landscaped grounds; Mediterraneo, their chic, on-site bistro with al fresco dining; Bogie’s, a lively nightclub; and the Provence building, an opulent, view-filled reception facility for special events. Everything is connected by picturesque stone walkways, and each turn reveals a fresh surprise. One moment you amble down a cobbled path under a magnificent rose arbor, and the next you find yourself strolling lakeside, feeding the resident ducks. Notter’s love of Mediterranean culture is reflected in the Inn’s architecture and exquisite details, from floral-laced trellises to European statuary and fountains. Flourishing gardens fill the air with the intoxicating fragrance of jasmine, lending a romantic atmosphere to your wedding ceremony.
For this momentous occasion, you may choose from among several enchanting outdoor locales, each individualized in theme. The Inn’s traditional setting is the Lakeside Gazebo, whose charming footbridge and white-wooden railing capture a nostalgic ambiance, perfumed by heritage roses and Provençal herbs. The classic Mediterranean Gazebo has sleek Romanesque columns, and overlooks the lake and gardens. Or walk down the aisle beneath an arbor entwined with flowering vines in the Tuscan Garden, and wed alongside an iron filigree cupola and a splashing fountain. Finally, just past the hotel lobby, a dramatic waterfall cascades over an expanse of polished rocks into two streams, surrounded by swaths of lawn and tropical foliage.
After the ceremony, your guests take an easy stroll to the Provence building. The Provence Patio, with its outdoor bar and heat lamps, is a congenial and refreshing place to serve pre-party cocktails. One of the most popular spaces for receptions is the bi-level Provence Room, with crystal chandeliers suspended from an open-beam ceiling. Floor-to-ceiling windows treat diners to a lake and waterfall vista. Adjacent to the Provence Room are two stylishly decorated banquet spaces for more formal events. The second-story Fairway Room features generous views of both golf greens and the sparkling lake. On the lower story, the Lakeside Room and its adjoining patio let you dine at the water’s edge and sip champagne under the stars.

EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The Provence Room holds up to 230 seated guests and the Fairway Room, up to 120 seated guests. The Lakeside Room with the patio holds up to 150 seated guests.
MEETING CAPACITY: 6 meeting spaces accommodate 10–230 guests.
25% of the estimated event total or $3,000 (whichever is greater) is the deposit required to reserve your date. 50% of the balance is due 90 days prior to the event, the final payment 2 weeks prior. Receptions average $65/person and include hors d’oeuvres, entrée, champagne toast, nonalcoholic beverage and cake cutting. Custom menus and special rates on hotel rooms are available. Ceremony and reception events receive one complimentary standard hotel room for an overnight stay.
