Driving along Palm Avenue, just north of Pacific Coast Highway in one of Southern California’s most beloved beach towns, you have a feeling you’re headed for someplace special as you make your way past majestic palms, towering like giant sentries all along the wide, landscaped boulevard. Turning into SeaCliff Country Club, your hunch proves right as you come face to face with the sleek, horizontal lines of a Frank Lloyd Wright structure flanked by emerald fairways and exuding a quiet, contemporary allure.
Situated less than a mile from the shore, dependably sun-kissed and cooled by ocean breezes, this sophisticated site is the only private club available for nonmember events in Huntington Beach.
Valets will greet your guests as they arrive in SeaCliff’s gracious circular driveway. Leading into the club, a sea of colorful foliage and a stream spilling over stones in a rock garden set a serene tone. Beyond an airy lobby with a soaring ceiling, the Pacific Room has a chic supper club feel with a warm mocha and burgundy color scheme, contemporary upholstered and leather furnishings, a granite-topped bar and an ebony grand piano. Offering panoramic views of the club’s lake and 18-hole golf course, this is a stylish area for preand post-ceremony mingling. While guests await your arrival, you and your attendants will have full use of a bride’s room, where you can simultaneously primp and calm jittery nerves with cheese, crackers and a bit of bubbly.
The Oval Terrace overlooking the lake and fairways provides a stunning backdrop for your outdoor ceremony—and for snapping photos afterwards. You’ll walk down a petal-strewn aisle stretching 75 feet to an ivory Grecian arch or pillared colonnade adorned with flowers, where you’ll exchange vows.
The Club’s two reception spaces offer very different atmospheres. If your guest list is long or you prefer a formal ballroom ambiance, the SeaCliff Room is large enough to accommodate a dance floor and DJ. Smaller gatherings are held in the Pacific Room, with clubby lounge areas and a more intimate space for dancing. No matter which one you choose, you can enhance any of five turnkey reception packages with a dramatic ice sculpture, a martini luge, or a chocolate fountain with your choice of dippers.
Complementing the attractions of this upscale venue are those that surround it in mellow Surf City USA. After your festivities wind down, you’ll have miles of uninterrupted beach to stroll along, a historic pier to explore and a colorful oceanfront boardwalk to visit.

A nonrefundable deposit, which is applied to your food and beverage total, is required to reserve your date. The amount of the deposit varies, depending on how far in advance you book. Payment terms for the balance also vary, and may be arranged on an individual basis. Reception packages start at $47/person. Tax, alcohol and service charge are additional. Food and beverage minimums may apply. Menus and packages can be customized to fit your needs and budget. Call for details.
