Lake Arrowhead Wedding Venue

Nature lovers and city slickers alike will easily succumb to the charms of Pine Rose Resort. Less than two hours from most So Cal cities, this mile-high country “getaway” near Lake Arrowhead offers six scenic mountain acres with clean, pine-scented air. The woodland setting also provides ceremony and reception sites, lodging for your guests, and a friendly staff—everything you’ll need for a wonderful wedding.
While it’s pretty hard to improve on Mother Nature, the resort has done exactly that with two magical wedding sites that take full advantage of the property’s rustic beauty. The Cedar Creek Pond area, amidst towering evergreens, works well for intimate affairs for up to 70. If you tie the knot here, your guests gather in a cedar-covered area on semicircular rows of smooth log benches. As they await your arrival, you make your entrance via a bridge that crosses a meandering stream, then continue down a flagstone path to the gazebo stage topped with a dramatic, log-and-branch dome. Just beyond the gazebo is a sparkling pond strewn with lily pads and teeming with colorful koi. Enhanced by romantic bridges, boulders and a vintage swing, it’s a photographer’s delight, presenting lots of choice backdrops.
Your reception takes place on the large decks of two cabins: Storybook and Cedar Creek. The cabins are connected by bridges that span interweaving streams, and their decks overhang Pine Rose Pond. In the middle of the pond, a free-form gazebo made of branches is a unique spot to showcase the cake.
For larger groups, there’s the fabulous Hidden Creek Lodge, built by the owners for their daughter’s wedding. This multi-tiered site has a stream running down one side and a serene pond at the base. Cut into the natural slope of the land, its amphitheater-like design affords stadium seating with great vistas and even greater acoustics.
At this venue, the ceremony starts with your walk down the aisle under a log trellis, past all your friends and family seated on several levels of decks. You’ll exchange vows at the gazebo altar, which is artistically crowned with an organic weaving of branches shed from an old oak tree. Cocktails and dinner follow on three levels of expansive wooden decks adjacent to the lodge. Covered with a wisteria-entwined log arbor, they give everyone unobstructed views of the huge dance floor, festooned with twinkle lights that reflect off the neighboring stream and illuminated waterfall.
Hidden Creek Lodge has five bedrooms, making it perfect for post-wedding family sleepovers as well as pre-wedding preparations with the bridesmaids upstairs and a first-floor game room that’s always a hit with the groomsmen. The bride and groom may want to rent the Rustic Romantic Cabin, an ideal honeymoon suite with a stone fireplace and extra-large Jacuzzi tub. Other cabins in the vicinity are also available.
An advantage of hosting a destination wedding at Pine Rose is that they make it so easy for you. With packages created for a range of budgets (and the option of a payment plan), a selection of screened local vendors to choose from, and menu tastings, you’ll have a stress-free experience in this fairy-tale place in the woods.
