Orange County’s cosmopolitan brides have discovered that this facility can accommodate almost any kind of wedding ceremony, reception and menu they can imagine, and there’s one more thing they love: knowing that they’ll have exclusive use of the facility for their event.
Pacific Hills displays its charms as soon as you arrive. Its entrance, an appealing Mediterraneanstyle courtyard edged with marigolds and birds of paradise, leads to a formidable arch-shaped wooden door. The door opens to a grand high-ceilinged foyer, lined with urns and crowned with a dramatic iron chandelier. A left turn takes you into a bright reception room, decorated with yet more imposing chandeliers and boasting substantial columns that separate a bar and gathering space from the ballroom lobby. An ensemble of wrought-iron railings angle their way up and down various ramps and stairs, creating a pleasingly energetic and entertaining visual effect.
All this, of course, is a prelude to the ballroom itself, which has crystal-beaded chandeliers, deep carpeting, creamy white wainscoting and eggshell-colored walls. The magnificent 9,000-square-foot space is like a blank canvas—what you do with it can range from simple to sumptuous. Lighting and decorating effects are almost unlimited, enabling you to create a magical setting.
Brides are always the center of attention here, and Pacific Hills pampers them. Up a stairway off the reception area, away from the clamor of happy celebrants, there’s a dressing room with its own private entrance. It features a bathroom and shower, as well as plush carpeting and two large mirrors, positioned so that the bride and her entourage can see themselves from all sides.
Actually, the VIP treatment starts even before the wedding day. The on-site event coordinators pride themselves on “going the whole nine yards,” which means taking care of everything from planning, photography and entertainment to decorations, the wedding cake and the reception. Before a prospective bride makes any decisions, Pacific Hills plays a short video for her that features various table settings and configurations. With a hauntingly romantic background track by Irish songstress Enya, the video takes a wonderful “show, don’t tell” approach that helps a bride see just how many great decorating options are possible.
Pacific Hills says it wants to provide “the luxury of a four-star venue but with much friendlier prices.” Judging from the hundreds of couples who choose to celebrate their wedding here, they’ve been extremely successful in achieving their goal.

A $2,500 deposit is required to reserve your date. 50% of the estimated event total is required 6 months prior to the event, and the remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event. Meals range $35–55/person. Tax, alcohol and a 19% service charge are additional.
