With the largest grand ballroom in the area—a refined, 14,700-square-foot space with beaded chandeliers and soaring 18-foot ceilings—this is the perfect venue for a gala affair. Equally unique is the hotel’s Garden Pavilion, a versatile indoor-outdoor facility.

A lush walkway fringed by tropical foliage leads guests to the facility. In a 2,300-square-foot outdoor courtyard ringed by mature banana trees and birds of paradise, they’ll have ample room to socialize before and after your ceremony. You can tie the knot on a beautiful garden terrace next to the pavilion. Afterwards, step inside for a spectacular reception. With dome chandeliers and ivory walls, the spacious tent-like structure provides a chic tabula rasa for creating anything from a traditional garden wedding to a Polynesian-themed event. Customize this flexible space any way you like, designing your own floor plan, importing a baby grand piano from the hotel, or adding a photo table to share memorable moments with guests.

However you decide to stage your affair, you can count on outstanding food and attention to detail by Regency Caterers. As the Hyatt’s exclusive catering arm, Regency Caterers also choreographs events off-site, at such prime Orange County locations as the Richard Nixon Library, Marconi Museum and Tanaka Farms, as well as at private homes. Your Regency Catering Manager at the hotel can discuss these alternatives with you, and provide tours of available facilities.

And, of course, whether you host your event at the Hyatt Regency Irvine or at one of the other venues they cater, you’ll have years of experience and the “Hyatt touch” backing the success of your party. From a customized menu and personalized cocktails to full facility setup, there are few details that aren’t handled for you. No matter what kind of celebration you envision, the hotel’s skilled professionals will be there to make it happen.

Fees & Deposits

25% of the minimum commitment is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 10 business days prior to the event. Rental fees and minimums range $500–30,000 depending on venue selected. If you use the on-site caterer, meals range $70–115/person. Tax, alcohol, and a 24% service charge are additional.
