If you’re in the market for an affordable, fun-packed wedding with a taste of the tropics in one of the planet’s most popular destinations, you can stop looking. At Hotel Ménage, Anaheim’s first boutique hotel, you’ll find a playscape that will make any event exciting.
Just beyond the lobby is a wealth of paradisiacal outdoor pleasures: a sprawling complex of terraces, lawns, shady lounges, and a lushly landscaped pool cast an inviting spell. The festive spirit begins in the Palapa Bar & Lounge, where a traditional palm-covered palapa, tiki torches, and rattan-style furnishings make mingling easy. Follow the winding stone walkway past graceful palms and other tropical plantings to the Palm Court. Ideal for a ceremony, cocktail reception or seated dinner (highlighted by comfort food from the hotel’s restaurant, American Tavern Eatery & Drink), its gently curving shape mirrors the footprint of the nearby pool and creates a sense of movement and flow. The sunny South Lounge nearby, also well-suited to both ceremonies and receptions, can be used in combination with other outdoor and indoor spaces to extend your party. The North Lounge on the opposite side of the spa and pool area is surrounded by towering palms, has a beautiful fountain, and offers still more room for your dining and dancing delight.
Indoors, the hotel’s newest addition, the Ballroom Lounge, puts an innovative spin on the ballroom concept. The look is upscale and contemporary, with warm wood-paneled walls, modern lighting fixtures and a soothing earth-tone color scheme. There’s a full bar at one end as well as a pair of white stone fireplaces; modern couches, chairs and coffee tables are arranged in cozy conversational groupings. Sliding glass doors open to the Palm Court, providing an indoor/outdoor experience. Designed with the utmost flexibility in mind, the “ballroom” can be configured in whatever way you like: as a lounge, a reception room with dance floor, or both.
A variety of smaller event spaces and meeting rooms are are also available for intimate cocktail receptions and private parties. Guest rooms are outfitted with luxurious touches like leather headboards, executive desks, and 42-inch high-def plasma TVs, but we have a feeling your guests won’t spend much time in them. Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Universal Studios and the seashore are close at hand, and at night there’s magic by the pool where you can watch Disneyland’s Fireworks Spectacular from the very best seats in the county.
CEREMONY CAPACITY: The hotel holds 200 seated guests indoors and 300 seated outdoors.
EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The hotel can accommodate 180 seated or 200 standing guests indoors, and 200 seated or 500 standing outdoors.
MEETING CAPACITY: Meeting spaces hold 200 seated guests.
30% of the total event cost is required to reserve your date and the balance is due 72 hours prior to the event. Rental fees range $250–1,000 depending on the space rented. Meals range $39–59/person. Tax, alcohol and a 21% service charge are additional.
