There are a lot of hotels that host weddings, but you won’t find another one like the Hotel Ménage. Located in the heart of Orange County, this must-see venue offers a unique mix of elegance, affordability, variety and fun—along with a tropical flair. Anaheim’s first true boutique hotel is a play-scape that will make any event exciting, including high school reunions and birthday parties.
As you enter, you’re welcomed by the lobby’s rich, mahogany-hued interior and sophisticated vibe. Just a few steps to your left is a delightful outdoor scene—a sprawling complex of terraces, lawns, shady lounges, and a lushly landscaped pool.
The festive spirit begins in the Palapa Bar & Lounge, where a traditional palm-covered palapa and ample seating make mingling easy. Follow the winding stone walkway past graceful palms and other tropical plantings to the Palm Court. Ideal for a ceremony, cocktail reception or seated dinner (highlighted by comfort food from the hotel’s restaurant, American Tavern Eatery & Drink), its gently curving shape mirrors the footprint of the nearby pool and creates a sense of movement and flow. The sunny South Lounge nearby, also well-suited for both ceremonies and receptions, can be used in combination with other outdoor and indoor spaces to extend your party. The North Lounge on the opposite side of the spa and pool area is surrounded by towering palms, has a beautiful fountain, and offers still more room for your dining and dancing delight.
Indoors, the Main Ballroom puts an innovative spin on the ballroom concept. The look is upscale and contemporary, with warm wood-paneled walls, modern lighting fixtures and a soothing earth-tone color scheme. It’s also outfitted with a full bar at one end as well as a white stone fireplace. Sliding glass doors open to the Palm Court, providing an indoor/outdoor experience. Designed with the utmost flexibility in mind, the “ballroom” can be configured in whatever way you like: as a lounge, a reception room with dance floor, or both.
A variety of smaller event spaces and meeting rooms are also available for intimate cocktail receptions and private parties. Guest rooms feature luxurious touches like leather headboards, executive desks, fridges, coffee makers and 42-inch high-def plasma TVs. But we’re going to bet that your guests won’t be spending much time in them. Disneyland is only a 10-minute walk, while Knott’s Berry Farm, Universal Studios and the seashore are also within a short drive.
And in the evening, as you lounge by the only 24-hour pool in Anaheim, you’ll get to enjoy the magic of Disneyland’s Fireworks from the very best seats in the county.
CEREMONY CAPACITY: The hotel holds 150 seated guests indoors and 150 seated outdoors.
EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The hotel can accommodate 150 seated or 200 standing guests indoors, and 200 seated or 500 standing outdoors.
MEETING CAPACITY: Meeting spaces hold 200 seated guests.
30% of the total event cost is required to reserve your date and the balance is due 72 hours prior to the event. The rental fee ranges $250–1,000 depending on the space reserved. Meals range $40–65/person. Tax, alcohol and a 21% service charge are additional.
