Why You'll Love This Place

A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review

The heart of this museum is the old H. Clay Kellogg House, a lovingly restored 1898 Victorian that sits amid ten acres of historic gardens and turn-of-the-century buildings. Created to preserve Orange County's cultural heritage, the museum takes you back to the early 1900s: While you're ambling along its jasmine-covered walkways, or through its orange groves and rose garden, you'll think you've stepped back in time onto a country estate. Another benefit of this location is that there are no noise ordinances and on select evenings you can party until midnight—a rarity for Orange County outdoor venues!

Heritage Museum of Orange County has recreated a gracious past, and weddings are often inspired by the setting's peaceful Victorian ambiance. Although you can't host your wedding inside, a stroll around the Kellogg House—outfitted with the utmost in Victoriana—is enough to set the mood. The spacious lawns lend themselves to a number of possibilities for parties and receptions, and the gazebo is popular for ceremonies.

The flexible and experienced Heritage Museum staff are happy to accommodate your special needs in every way they can. All proceeds from weddings and receptions go to support the museum's nonprofit programs, which provide "hands-on" historical enrichment for visitors. A portion of the proceeds are also tax deductable. Not only is Heritage Museum a lovely place to host your wedding, you'll have the satisfaction of benefiting a wonderful cultural resource.
