Set in a residential neighborhood in suburban Fullerton, Colette’s Catering at the Meridian Club offers one-stop shopping for brides seeking top value in an easily accessed North Orange County venue. Recently renovated with new carpeting, accent lighting, draperies and furnishings, the comfortable facility is a versatile choice for a rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony or reception of any size. It offers a spacious patio and several private banquet rooms that can be combined for large affairs or made more intimate for smaller functions. Ample complimentary parking is available for guests.

Before walking down the aisle in one of the site’s indoor or outdoor spaces, relax and get ready in the Meridian Club’s calming bridal suite. Appointed with classic upholstered furnishings, a full mirror, Italianate lighting fixtures and scented candles, it’s a secluded place where you can enjoy your last moments as a single woman in the company of your bridesmaids.

A loggia enclosed by decorative glass paneling makes a protected outdoor spot for tying the knot. With its imported, tri-tier Italian fountain and slate rock flooring, it’s a blank canvas that can be dressed up to showcase the theme and colors of your party. Alternatively, plan an indoor ceremony in the Ara/Virgo Ballroom, where adjustable lighting and wall sconces allow you to set the mood, and a garland-festooned arch might provide a focal point for your exchange of vows.

For larger functions, the handsome Pavo/Draco Ballroom features rich mahogany paneling, and greenhouse windows that bring the outdoors inside while bathing the space in natural light. Receptions and rehearsal dinners also take place in the elegant Vela Ballroom, with its dark wood wainscoting and neutral grasscloth walls. A portable parquet dance floor can be set up in any area of the facility.

Wherever you hold your special occasion at the Meridian Club, you can choose the caterer that’s right for you. Many couples opt for Colette’s Catering, a company that has worked extensively at both the Meridian Club and the Muckenthaler Mansion. Colette’s is known for their fine cuisine, attentive service and stylish presentation. Founded in 1990 by Fullerton native Colette Coffman, the successful firm has established a reputation for specialty wedding cakes, as well as beautifully prepared hors d’oeuvres, catered buffets and sit-down dinners. Colette’s offers comprehensive wedding packages that include centerpieces, staging decorations, silverware, linens, tables, chairs, full bar service and cleanup. However, if you prefer to work with a different insured caterer, you have that option as well.

With little to worry about, you can fully experience your day: Concentrate on greeting guests, making memories and looking forward to the future with your new spouse. And because hosting an event at the Meridian Club is such a great value, you may have a little something extra to spend on your honeymoon.

Fees & Deposits

A $2,000 deposit is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 7 days prior to the event. Packages range $36–63/person. Tax, alcohol and a 20% service charge are additional.
