Professionally trained in interior design at L.A.‘s Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Virginia actually comes by her ingenuity and talent naturally. “My father was my first teacher,” she declares. “He was a wonderful graphic designer and I learned from him.” She made her first card at the age of six, quickly picking up skills beyond her years. “My customers inspire me,” says Virginia. And she inspires them. Adoring clients love her commitment to the environment and community. “We’re doing what we can to reduce our carbon footprint not only in our day-to-day operation but in our lives,” explains Virginia, who—among other things—uses paper that’s chlorine and acid free, and manufactured with recycled fiber and post-consumer waste fiber. “We pledge to be socially responsible and create quality products that do not sacrifice beauty and, more importantly, our environment.”

Virginia also pays commissions forward by donating a portion of all proceeds, as well as her time, to charitable causes. No wonder this design studio is attracting a devoted following. “In her personal and business life, Virginia oozes honesty and authenticity,” reports a police chaplain who has collaborated with her on nonprofit projects. “I wish we could duplicate her! This world needs more people like Virginia!”
