About This Company
Here are just some of the raves we heard about Thomas Hughes Video Production:
“My husband and I were so happy with Thomahs Hughes Video Production! They made everything so smooth, effortless, and exciting! Our Wedding was magnificent and a moment that we will have captured forever! We watch it over and over! We thank them so much from the bottom of our hearts”
“We finally had an opportunity to sit down and enjoy the video with our families. It was wonderfully edited, and very tasteful. We will unreservedly recommend Thomas Hughes Video Production to our friends and family, and hope to have an opportunity to work with them again in the future, for other events”
Background
“When Courtney Cox and David Arquette hired Thomas Hughes Video Productions to videotape their wedding, it was a real turning point for our company,” Thomas Hughes recalls. “When such a discerning, high-profile client entrusts you with documenting their day, it is truly an honorable and humbling experience. In many ways this wedding took our company to a new level with our services and the quality of videography as a whole.”
Since then, THVP has added innumerable high-profile clients to their resume while videotaping hundreds of weddings for Bay Area (and Southern California) brides and grooms: Robin Williams, baseball great Jason Giambi, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, actresses Alicia Silverstone and Ashley Scott, and director Baz Luhrman.
“We approach each wedding with the same philosophy: everything about our client’s experience has to be perfect. These videos create everlasting memories for the entire family. Now, thanks to High Definition filming, every time a client revisits their wedding day video they’ll appreciate its superior quality.”
“I remember when we shot the first wedding on HD for Grammy-winning record producer Walter Afanasieff,” Thomas adds. “Sony lent us the cameras because they cost $100,000 each! The image quality was amazing! Now we offer that same crystal-clear video to all of our clients.”
Thomas and Anita believe that a video is a very personal thing. That’s why, since they began videotaping weddings in 1985, they’ve made the process very much a collaboration between THVP and the couple.
THVP has a reputation for being unobtrusive and working wonderfully with other vendors. Using broadcast-quality digital cameras, high-end wireless microphones and state-of-the-art editing suites, they create elegantly edited wedding videos that are tailored to each client’s individual needs. “We employ slow motion to prolong special moments, black & white to make them timeless, and carefully selected music—all of which are blended together into a treasured video that will take you right back to your wedding day,” says Thomas.
Additional services include photomontages and wedding love stories. THVP’s work has been featured on Oprah, A&E’s An American Wedding, Lifetime Television’s Million Dollar Weddings and other TV productions.
