Background

Not only is Sophie Maher’s photography lush, beautiful, and evocative, nearly everyone we spoke with pointed out how easy she is to work with.

Sophie Maher first formerly studied photography as a student at UC Berkeley, when she studied both cultural anthropology and documentary photography at the Graduate School of Journalism.

Sophie’s other photography work includes portraiture, editorial and travel photography and fine-art work. Her work has been published nationally and internationally, in such publications as The Financial Times (UK), San Francisco Magazine, the Bay Guardian, Destination Napa and The Knot Magazine. She’s also been featured in Daily Candy.
