Sure, Sasha Souza puts together the kind of splashy, over-the-top events you see in magazines (her events have been in InStyle, Time, Elegant Bride, Better Homes and Gardens Weddings, People, In Touch, Modern Bride & Martha Stewart), but her events are not just notable for their glamour, they are also true to her clients’ visions and just plain old fun.

Sasha started off in the theater arts and found her way to planning events the way many coordinators do: by helping friends. But from there her story is anything but typical because the events she started producing were just so out of the ordinary. Because of her theater background, Sasha knows how to do things like use lighting to heighten the drama; but more importantly, she thinks of the whole event the way a theater producer would: her goal is to make sure that the stars shine and the guests always go home wanting more.

In 2004, Sasha was profiled as one of Modern Bride’s Top 25 Trendsetters in the Bridal Industry. Her events have been featured on a “20/20” wedding series special, “Inside Edition,” “Eye on LA,” and “In Wine Country,” among other shows. The company is a member of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). Sasha is a Master Bridal Consultant with, and a distinguished member of, the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC).

She is also a member of the Modern Bride Magazine Advisory Panel and has been asked to be a celebrity speaker at their Wedding March series in Southern California in April 2005.
