The size and instrumentation of the band will be personalized to honor your budget and musical desires. Known for his attention to detail, Bob will work with you to make sure your musical entertainment is a great success.
Background
Bandleader, musician, and composer Bob Schoen has studied with world-class instructors at Cal State University East Bay, the Peabody Preparatory School (Baltimore), the San Francisco School of Dramatic Arts and the JazzSchool (Berkeley), and has degrees from UC Berkeley, Boston University, Cal State and Laney College.
Bob’s bands have entertained at a wide range of private and corporate events, weddings, concerts and club dates. His compositions for musical theater and symphonic band have been performed in theaters and in concerts, and his original songs appear on several CDs.

With a reputation for being the most organized and prepared bandleader, Bob will offer you all the personal attention and assistance you need to plan the music for your event-music that will “make your heart dance.” His band features an extensive repertoire that includes the best in Swing, Dinner & Cocktail Jazz, Rock, Disco, R&B, Latin, Standards and Klezmer. Bob also offers a Band-DJ Combination so you can have the best of both worlds-live music and your favorite recordings.
The size and composition of the band will be modified to provide the best sound and musical styles for your event or celebration, while also honoring your budget. Master of Ceremonies services and dance lessons for your guests are also available. The band is well versed in both Christian and Jewish traditions.
