About This Company

Kira’s photography of weddings in the Carmel-Big Sur area incorporates the region’s dramatic scenery with the intimate moments that occur. Posed shots are done in soft, natural light. “I have fun with my clients so that the photography is one more exciting element of the day, and not a chore to be endured.”

Background

Kira has had a passion for photography for over 25 years. She incorporated her work photographing for psychology text books and for theater into her work on weddings, which, she says “are a little bit of theater and a lot about psychology.” Kira has developed her own style of photojournalism and family groupings by attending seminars through Professional Photographers of California and West Coast Schools of Photography.

Services

Wedding and portrait photography in a relaxed and candid style. Assists in scripting the timeline of your wedding day so that everyone knows where they need to be. Kira can recommend many beautiful locations for photo shoots. Her goal is for you to have fun and be relaxed with the photography.

Kira says “I photograph each event with the thought that the bride and groom will want to see what went on even if they were busy in another part of the room. I want to show them all of the small precious moments that made up their wedding day.”

Proofs available within 2-3 weeks after event, finished prints within 6 weeks. Negatives are available after one year.
