What 3 words describe your work? Innovative. Timeless. Elegant.
Why should someone hire you? I truly put my whole heart into every wedding. My clients mean the world to me. I want their weddings to be everything they dreamed of. I like to WOW my client’s with all the amazing choices available to them. I am also very knowledgeable, but I never stop learning. I learn so much from my vendors. I love and appreciate them so much—they’re like family to me. It takes a team of great people to execute a flawless day. I only work with the finest most reliable vendors in the industry—I am very picky and I don’t settle for mediocre products or services of any kind.
I am very big on educating my clients on their best options and how the wedding world works. I realize that even though I have done this hundreds of times, this is their first time!
What drew you to this field/how did you get started? I love people! I love making them happy. I love interior design and I love production. I am a hopeless romantic and it is an incredible feeling to be responsible for making someone’s dreams come true. Having been raised in a very loving family, I am very family-orientated—I love watching families come together for a wedding celebration and I’m fascinated by the wonderful variety of cultural traditions they embrace.
Tell us about a favorite, unusual or most interesting moment at a wedding. I cry at every wedding. I love watching the excitement and joy and happiness in the bride and groom’s eyes and on their family’s faces! Each wedding touches my heart in a different way.
What is the best advice you give to a couple when planning their wedding?
• You will never please everyone. It is a celebration! Be yourselves and do what you want. Your true friends and family will have a great time at your wedding because your wedding will be unique to the two of you.
• Too much wedding talk can drive you both crazy! Arrange wedding discussion appointments with your fiancé once a week for an agreed limited time—give one another your full attention to discuss wedding plans. When the appointment is over do not talk about the wedding plans for the rest of the week.
• Don’t forget the about the groom and his wants and needs!
What are 3 words that describe your personality? Fun-loving, hard-working, enthusiastic. My husband says I never sit still and I bring a BIG positive energy to everything I do.
What is your favorite quote? From my dad, “If you can look at yourself in the mirror each day and honestly say you tried your best, you will be the best!”
What’s your favorite marriage advice?
Make the time to play together. Be kind to one another every day. Always voice your appreciation for each other every day.
Extracurricular Activities: I enjoy cooking, baking, kickboxing, decorating, travel, and playing with my daughter. I adore really corny family stuff (the cornier the better). I have a true love for the East Coast as I am from Connecticut. I try to get back to Connecticut and New York whenever I can.
What’s your favorite way to wind down after a hard day? My favorite thing is cuddling on the couch enjoying great food and wine, wearing my most comfortable old clothes, with a cozy, plush blanket, my husband, my little girl, and our two little dogs. I also LOVE reading my daughter her bedtime story. That is my favorite time of the day.
