Questions and Answers

Why should someone hire you? Your wedding video will not feel "outdated" even in 10-15 years. You will enjoy our elegant, cinematic editing style and amazing HD video quality for years to come. But even more importantly, you will be able to experience your emotions and everything you felt during your wedding every time you watch your wedding video.

What are the common misconceptions about your services? The most common misconception is that wedding video will be long and boring. In fact, we edit it down to the best, most exciting, and most emotional moments. Our videos are elegant, cinematic and very fun to watch.

What drew you to this field/how did you get started? I was always attracted to photography and videography. From age 15, I was already trying to create my first movies. In 2002 I was hired by another videographer (Tim Zahoory, Tim Video Productions) and worked there for almost 4 years. This is where I learned the craft of professional videography. I started my own business in the spring of 2006 and continue to grow stronger ever since.

Tell us about a wedding you worked on that really makes you proud: Every time I deliver a video, the clients say they absolutely love it! This is the most rewarding feeling and makes you want to perform your best.

What have weddings have taught you? Weddings teach me patience and give me a very observant eye. It is amazing how it can transform professionals as we gain more experience.

What is the best advice you give to a couple when planning their wedding? Don't try to save by skipping on a wedding planner. It is crucial in planning your wedding day to have somebody professional helping you organize everything. The impact of a good wedding planner is priceless!

What are 3 words that describe your personality? Patient, responsive, creative.

What's your favorite marriage advice? Don't take things for granted. Cherish each other and always manage some free time to spend with each other. Also, when you are angry at your spouse for any reason (which will happen for sure), before you speak up, make it a habit to brush your teeth first. It slows you down—meaning that you will speak in a better language, perhaps without trying to attack or hurt him or her.

What's your favorite way to wind down after a hard day? With my lovely husband and two kids at the park or at home watching a family movie.

Tell us about your pets, if you have any. One loving cat—Keesa.

What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges? We just had our annual fancy dinner with the Bay Area Professional Videographers Association at The Forbes Mill Steakhouse in Los Gatos. The food was amazing!

Why don’t we allow reviews on our website?

We do, but we don’t do it the way some other websites do. We include some of the raves we heard from brides and fellow wedding professionals when we were checking out our Certified by The Guide wedding vendors on our website. (If we didn’t get great feedback, they wouldn’t be on our website.) We don’t just let anyone comment though, because we’ve seen other websites where phony reviews, which are so hard to ferret out, mislead people. All of the reviews we’ve posted, however, are real.

Search our vendors or read more about what it means to be Certified by The Guide.
