Glass Onion Catering has been providing full service catering and event planning for over 15 years. Professionally trained Chef and Owner Tom Atherstone is a Wolfgang Puck protégé and catered special events at the world-famous Beverly Hills Hotel.
Glass Onion has developed an excellent reputation in the Bay Area and are proud to be the preferred caterer at The Oakland Museum, Preservation Park, the Joaquin Miller Community Center, Jack London Aquatic Center and the Henry J. Kaiser Center.
Services
Full-service catering and event planning. Their California Cuisine uses only fresh ingredients and places emphasis on presentation. Whether you choose their Seared Ahi Tuna with a Wasabi Crme Fraiche or their Marinated Grilled Chicken Breast with Fresh Mango and Kiwi Salsa, your menu will be a feast for the eyes and the palate.
Glass Onion is a fully licensed and insured beverage caterer. They can provide a variety of wines, beer, and distilled and non-alcoholic beverages. Their beverage packages are based on consumption; you pay only for the drinks your guests consume. They can provide a bartender and professional bar set up for clients who wish to provide their own beer and wine with no corkage fee.
