With her degree in horticulture, including a concentration in floral design, from Cal Poly, Melinda Lynch began Festive Designs in 1986. Melinda keeps current with industry trends and mentors future floral designers by teaching classes at her alma mater. Her students frequently take top honors at national competitions. Melinda is an accredited floral designer by the American Institute of Floral Designs (AIFD) and she is a member of the Central Coast Wedding Professionals (CCWP).
