Background
Couture Celebrations partners Heidi Hughett and Lia Adams’ multifaceted experience in the hospitality industry gives them a wealth of resources and invaluable insight into event planning.
Heidi was a chef for 6 years, worked as a restaurant manager, and as a Food and Beverage Manager in a variety of premier hotels, restaurants, and the University Center at UC Santa Cruz. She is designated by the ABC as a Professional Bridal Consultant and is a distinguished graduate of their professional development program. Lia has years of experience in restaurant management and banquet coordination. As one local catering manger told us, this background puts them one step ahead—they have “great connections to almost every vendor in Santa Cruz County, which is a very valuable asset to have on your side.”

Couture Celebrations strives to create spectacular and memorable events. Heidi and Lia use their organizational skills, excellent communication, extensive network and creative insights to support and guide each client that they work with.
They offer a range of services, including theme/décor design, budgeting, site visits, etiquette advisement, timeline creation and management, and vendor contract reviews—not only for weddings, but also bridal showers, quinceaneras, and other parties.
