About This Company
David Burrows delivers all the services you’d expect from one of Southern California’s top entertainment providers, but what really makes him stand out in the eyes of so many brides and their mothers is his patience. From your initial conversation with him until the end of the event, he always takes the time to hear what you have to say and guide you through every step.
With over 20 years in the business, David is an expert at helping his clients identify their entertainment needs. “Sometimes a couple will assume they want a swing/society band or a jazz ensemble. But after we discuss all the choices and the mood they want to create, they might end up deciding that a variety band or DJ is really what they’re looking for.” His goal has always been to make every client completely satisfied. “I believe in quality, not quantity, so we only do a limited number of weddings per weekend,” says David. “That way, we can maintain excellent control of each one.” He gives his absolute attention to every detail, and likes to share the experience he’s gained over the years with each couple so that they really can have their once-in-a-lifetime event. “Success for me is knowing that the bride and groom are able to relax and enjoy one of the most memorable days of their lives, confident the timing will be right.”
Since timing is so important, it’s good to know that David, his staff and his entertainers are experienced professionals, well versed in a wide variety of music. His bands are the music industry’s finest musicians and they all work in regularly rehearsed groups, so they don’t have to waste a minute getting to know each other and can get right down to pleasing the crowd with great music. Regarding his DJs, says David “Anyone can stand behind a console, but our DJs have an extensive knowledge of music and are able to capture the hearts of the audience. Reading the actions and reactions of the crowd and knowing the right music, and when to play it, is crucial in making an event very special,” he explains.
Burrows Entertainment takes care of its clients in another important way: David or one of his company’s coordinators is present for every event where there is live music for both the ceremony and reception. “The bandleader can only do so much coordination while performing on stage,” acknowledges David. “With one of us on site, we can keep track of what’s going on and keep in touch with the couple throughout the wedding to make sure that everything takes place just the way we planned it.”
