Background
Lisa Neighbors earned a dual degree in Art History and Photography at Syracuse University. After graduating she applied her creative talents in advertising for ten years as a producer at major New York and San Francisco ad agencies, where Lisa worked with photographers like Richard Avedon, Peggy Sirota and Tim Walker. These photographers gave her the inspiration to capture both fun and spontaneous photographs as well as gorgeous, timeless portraits—all with real editorial feel.
Wedding professionals at some well-known San Francisco locations told us things like “She’s pleasant and talented, responsive and just fantastic” and “she’s great to work with…she’s enthusiastic and lovely.” Another wedding professional said, “You know those beautiful images you see of weddings, all the little details? That’s what she notices and captures.”

Blonde Tulip’s style is unobtrusive and photojournalistic.
Blonde Tulip shoots in digital and uses natural light as much as possible. Lisa and an associate photographer photograph each event. Blonde Tulip provides online viewing, over 600 4×6 proofs presented in a beautiful custom-made Japanese silk box, and beautiful custom-made albums crafted in San Francisco. Their self-portrait camera (think of a photo booth—but without the booth—that gives you control of taking the picture) is an ingenious way to entertain and involve your guests.
